The initiative has been launched with the strategic support of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), a public university in Việt Nam’s telecommunications sector.

At the Vietnam–Italy Business Forum in Hà Nội on September 4, the two sides exchanged a memorandum of understanding to mark the cooperation.

As the first university in Việt Nam with the capacity to meet the high requirements of low-altitude satellite equipment research, PTIT will provide the project with a dedicated structure within its campus, hosting the new centre that will see a collaboration between experts from the Temix Group and a selected team of local professionals and researchers.

The centre builds on a long-standing collaboration between Temix and PTIT in higher education, particularly through support for telecommunications engineering programmes.

Their partnership has included scholarships for Vietnamese students to undertake advanced training at the University of Catania in Italy, with which both institutions maintain academic ties.

The centre will boost Temix Group’s research and design in telecommunications and aerospace, offering advanced services for clients in Asia and the Middle East. It is part of Temix’s long-term consolidation programme in Việt Nam, built on partnerships with local institutions, universities, and public and private operators.

Armando Caravella, founder and President of Temix Group, said: “This centre represents a strategic investment in the group’s innovative capacity, enhancing the synergies between our international experience and Vietnamese academic excellence.”

Đặng Hoài Bắc, president of PTIT, added: “The collaboration with Temix consolidates technology transfer and creates new professional opportunities for our researchers, strengthening Việt Nam’s position in the global space industry.”
