The province fully allocated all public investment capital, with VNĐ6.01 trillion assigned by the Prime Minister and VNĐ6.01 trillion by the provincial People’s Council. By June 30, disbursement had reached VNĐ2.24 trillion, fulfilling 37.2 per cent of both plans.

Domestic investment inflows reached VNĐ6.3 trillion, up 18 per cent year-on-year. Authorities issued investment registration certificates and in-principle approvals for 34 new projects worth VNĐ4.7 trillion.

Foreign investment hit $415.9 million, 1.48 times higher than the same period last year, including 11 new projects with registered capital of $304.8 million.

Since January, Tây Ninh has granted business registration certificates to 459 new enterprises with total registered capital of VNĐ79 trillion, marking a 37.8 per cent increase in the number of businesses and a 20-fold surge in capital. Meanwhile, 71 enterprises dissolved, with combined registered capital of VNĐ424 billion.

Tourism revenue reached VNĐ2.7 trillion, fulfilling 100 per cent of the year’s goal and rising 29 per cent year-on-year. Tourist arrivals at sites across the province totalled 3.5 million, meeting 63 per cent of the annual target, a 3.5 per cent increase.

The province’s industrial production index rose by 15.4 per cent as of early July.

The provincial Party Standing Committee has reviewed a draft report on piloting a special mechanism to develop border-gate economic zones to promote economic connectivity between Việt Nam and Cambodia.

Tây Ninh is also moving forward with a memorandum of understanding involving Becamex IDC, VSIP and VRG Group on the formation and development of the Mộc Bài - Xuyên Á industrial complex.

The province is finalising and submitting planning dossiers for appraisal by the Ministry of Construction, including adjustments to the general planning of the Xa Mát Border-Gate Economic Zone and the Mộc Bài Border-Gate Economic Zone through 2045.

It is also completing the master plan for the Hiệp Thạnh Industrial Park and has approved policies to remove obstacles for Phase 3 of the Phước Đông - Bời Lời Industrial-Urban-Service Complex.
