International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition begins in HCM City

The 23rd annual International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition has opened in HCM City.

The country’s leading international exhibition in the medical and pharmaceutical industries has brought together more than 400 enterprises from 20 countries and territories.

There are large national pavilions from India, Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Turkey and China.

The expo showcases products in six main categories: pharmaceuticals, machinery and equipment for pharmaceutical production and packaging, dedical devices, laboratory equipment, dental equipment, ophthalmic technology and products.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Phạm Đăng Khánh, deputy general director of VINEXAD, the event’s organiser, said the expo, growing in scale and quality, has become an established forum for domestic and international healthcare enterprises who seek opportunities for exchanges, cooperation and partnership.

The event stands out for its diverse range of activities and business networking opportunities.

Seminars cover topics such as updates on pharmaceutical and tendering laws, green financing, AI, and green technology trends in healthcare, providing businesses with information about legal, technology and financial trends.

A B2B trade programme will run throughout the expo, with the participation of business executives from over 20 countries and regions.

The three-day event that opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre on Thursday is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors.
