Two annual expos, the International Exhibition on Machinery, Equipment, Supplies, Fertiliser, Chemicals and Agricultural Products (Agri Vietnam 2025) and the International Exhibition & Conference on Livestock, Feed, Animal Health, Dairy and Meat Processing (Livestock Vietnam 2025) opened in HCM City on June 25.

Organised by Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertising Services Co., Ltd (VEAS), they have together attracted over 200 brands from more than 10 countries and territories, including China, India, Taiwan (China), Russia, Turkey, and the Netherlands.

The exhibits range from animal feed, animal health and dairy products to agricultural machinery, fertilisers and chemicals.

The events will also see seminars hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and business associations and have dedicated display areas for products developed under One Commune, One Products (OCOP) programme, export-ready agricultural goods, and "Made in Vietnam" livestock products.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyễn Thị Lam Hà, deputy director of Minh Vi, said agriculture is a key pillar of Việt Nam’s economy with deep historical roots and vast growth potential.

From once struggling to meet its needs, the country has emerged as one of the world’s leading agricultural producers and exporters, she said.

“However, to ensure sustainable growth and meet rising global demand, Việt Nam must enhance product quality through green and environmentally friendly practices, invest in research and technology, develop internationally recognised brands, and expand cooperation and export markets.”

The expos offer valuable opportunities for collaboration and help advance Việt Nam’s agriculture across production, business and export, she added.

The three-day exhibitions at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre are expected to welcome more than 6,000 trade visitors.
