When completed in 2027, the 170,000-sq.m, state-of-the-art industrial space will boost operational efficiency and service reliability while supporting the expected demand from the region.

Located in Frasers Property Vietnam’s Industrial Centre Yen My in Hung Yen province, the new sorting centre will be SPX’s largest in Southeast Asia.

Industrial Centre Yen My covers an area of over 265,000 sq.m and features a diverse range of premium industrial spaces and products, designed with and supported by integrated infrastructure to suit businesses of every size. It offers complete build-to-suit solutions encompassing master planning, design, construction, and management.

At the signing ceremony, Tran Quyen, director of SPX Express Vietnam, said, "This new facility is a meaningful step forward in our ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of consumers and small businesses. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Frasers Property to bring this vision to life, and we look forward to contributing to a more connected and inclusive digital economy for Vietnam."

Truong An Duong, general manager of Industrial and Residential at Frasers Property Vietnam, said, "This modern and efficient built-to-suit facility leverages our extensive experience in delivering specialised industrial real estate solutions, it goes beyond supporting SPX’s growth ambitions to also set new benchmarks for Vietnam’s logistics landscape."

Frasers Property’s built-to-suit facility will feature an advanced operational design customised to meet SPX’s demanding logistics requirements for high-volume and short lead times.

It will be the first of its kind in Vietnam to allow for fully independent traffic flows on different floors, enabling multiple vehicles to simultaneously cross-dock at the facility’s 158 docks that connect to over 700 sorting destinations.

The facility will also feature next-generation two-storey Automated Sorting Machines that will enable daily automated sorting and processing up to 7 million parcels, enabling SPX to deliver a faster and more reliable service.

Construction of the facility at Industrial Centre Yen My will commence from the third quarter of 2025 with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027 and is expected to generate thousands of jobs for Hung Yen province.

The project follows a previous successful collaboration between SPX and Frasers Property, with the completion and delivery of a 106,000-sq.m sorting facility at BDIP Premium Industrial Park earlier this year.
