With its long-standing presence in Vietnam, Piaggio Vietnam, part of global mobility leader Piaggio Group, is continuing to demonstrate its commitment to empower younger generations through initiatives that bridge education with real-world experience.

The collaboration with the National Economics University (NEU) will open opportunities for students to engage in the corporate environment, and form part of Piaggio Vietnam's wider journey in nurturing young talent, a spirit previously reflected in notable programmes such as Young Lions.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Gianluca Fiume, president of Piaggio Asia-Pacific and general director of Piaggio Vietnam, and Pham Hong Chuong, president of NEU.

The event also welcomed the participation of senior leaders, human resources executives, and representatives from various departments of both parties, underscoring a shared commitment to building a comprehensive, in-depth partnership that delivers long-term and practical value.

The MoU signing marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between Piaggio Vietnam and the NEU, aimed at fostering impactful collaboration in education, knowledge exchange, professional consultancy, and career opportunities for students.

By bridging the corporate world with academia, Piaggio is not only seeking high-quality talent, but also affirming its commitment to accompany the younger generation on their professional journeys, while sparking innovation and encouraging global thinking.

The event also kicked off a series of engagement activities between the Piaggio brand and NEU students, starting with a dedicated space on campus that showcases Italian products and culture.

This experiential space offers students a closer look at Piaggio's iconic Italian design, along with a deeper appreciation of the creativity, technological legacy, and long-term vision that the brand embodies.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, Gianluca Fiume joined a CEO Talk titled 'Beyond Mobility - Vespa and the Italian Way of Life', part of the Piaggio NEXT GEN event series.

In an open and engaging setting, he shared the brand journey of Vespa, from a mode of transportation to a global symbol of Italian culture, embodying freedom, creativity, and individuality.

The talk featured great enthusiasm from NEU students, particularly those with a strong interest in branding and modern management thinking.
