Vietnam emerging as potential sourcing destination

More than 400 local and foreign exhibitors are participating in the Global Sourcing Fair Vietnam 2025, indicating the potential of Vietnam as a sourcing destination.

Vietnam emerging as potential sourcing destination

The Global Sourcing Fair Vietnam 2025 is taking place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from April 24 to 26.

This third edition of the business-to-business trade show features over 400 verified exhibitors from Vietnam and Asia, showcasing 500 booths from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Philippines, South Korea, Netherlands, and Vietnam.

The fair is rapidly becoming a prime destination for international buyers, offering a unique platform to connect with Vietnamese and foreign manufacturers in Vietnam, who make up 70 per cent of the exhibitors. In addition, 30 per cent of exhibitors hail from other prominent sourcing countries and regions.

It is expected to attract more than 10,000 buyers, sourcing agents, and retailers from key markets including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, and ASEAN members.

In the current global economic climate, marked by fluctuating tariffs, shifting trade policies, and ongoing supply chain disruptions, securing reliable and cost-effective sourcing solutions is more critical than ever. As businesses navigate these challenges, Global Sourcing Fair Vietnam 2025 offers a strategic platform for suppliers to diversify their markets and for buyers to identify trusted sources, reducing the risks of relying on a single supplier or market.

This year's fair displays 30,000 export-ready products spanning fashion and accessories, home and gifts, and electronics and home appliances. Among them, the Vietnam Pavilion features home goods, furniture, fashion, textiles, and handicrafts. The Korea Pavilion highlights K-Beauty products, wellness items, and household goods inspired by South Korean trends.

In addition, the India Pavilion offers exquisite handwoven fabrics, intricately embroidered garments, and culturally rich handcrafted textiles, making it a great choice for retailers and distributors.

Exhibitors from Bangladesh show off their strengths in jute rugs, footwear, and bags. Suppliers from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan showcase the latest in electronics, home appliances, and advanced technology, which are offered at competitive prices with guaranteed quality.

“As companies face unprecedented challenges and strive to diversify their supply chains, this event becomes the critical platform where global buyers and top-tier manufacturers from Vietnam and Asia come together to forge transformative partnerships. It is an unparalleled opportunity to secure the future of international trade, drive innovation, and unlock new avenues for growth," said Sam Hui, vice president of Global Sources.
