The Việt Nam Customs Department has recently approved the renewal of its Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificate for Doosan Enerility Vietnam company (Doosan Vina), for the second time in a row.

The South Korean heavy industries manufacturer said the certificate, which is valid for three years from 2025, makes it one of only 76 enterprises in Việt Nam to earn such certification.

Doosan Vina said it is also the only company in the central Quảng Ngãi Province to attain the priority validation.

The business said it had qualified via strict inspections from the General Department of Customs for a comprehensive post-clearance assessments in customs, production, export and import activities, as well as for its internal control system over a five-year period for achieving the certificate renewal.

The certificate aims to provide smooth procedure for the business in customs, declarations, tax procedures, on-site import and export procedures, and post-clearance inspections.

The benefits also include preferential treatment in the customs sector in the countries that join the mutual recognition agreement signs on AEO with Việt Nam.

The Dung Quất Economic Zone-based Doosan Vina exports made-in-Việt Nam heavy industry products including boilers, desalination plants and cranes, to 35 countries.
