Honda Vietnam has new female CEO

Sayaka Hattori, a Japanese national with over 25 years of experience in the automobile and motorcycle industry, was appointed as new CEO of Honda Vietnam on April 1.

Honda Vietnam on April 1 announced its new CEO, Sayaka Hattori, who succeeded Koji Sugita, who assumed the position for two years (from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025).

The CEO is a Japanese national with over 25 years of experience in the automobile and motorcycle industry. She has held many important positions at Honda Motor in Japan, China, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Before her appointment at Honda Vietnam, she served as the President of Honda Philippines from 2023 to 2025.

The 50-year-old executive started working at Honda in 1999. With her management experience in large markets, Sayaka is committed to continuing to promote the sustainable development of Honda Vietnam, offering high-quality, safe, and environmentally friendly products.

Honda Vietnam will continue to strengthen its community activities and make positive contributions to the development of Việt Nam, she said.
