CDC continues its mission to promote, attract investment whilst in Shanghai

After completing his mission in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), yesterday continued his mission to attract and promote investment from Shanghai, in the People’s Republic of China.

The Deputy Prime Minister led a delegation from the CDC and the Cambodian Oknha Association to meet and discuss with Geoharbour Construction Group, Penyao Environmental Protection, and Tri-Wall (Shanghai) Packaging Technology to study and understand investment opportunities and examine the possibility of attracting investment to the Kingdom.

Chanthol thanked the representatives of the three enterprises for coming to meet and discuss with the Cambodian delegation on the occasion of fulfilling the mission of attracting and promoting investment from Shanghai.

During these three meetings, the deputy prime minister briefed on the latest developments in the investment climate in Cambodia as well as the state of socio-economic development under the wise and far-sighted leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet.

In addition, the deputy prime minister also provided consultations to the company parties, focussing on policy and technical aspects, to ensure that investors receive accurate, clear, and comprehensive information to serve as a basis for feasibility studies towards achieving future investment in Cambodia.
