The event was attended by over 500 partners and executives of domestic and international businesses, reaffirming a mutually beneficial multilateral partnership.

Last year, Saigon Co.op, in collaboration with business partners, organised a series of business activities and promotions, bringing attractive incentives and best prices to consumers.

Charitable programmes and social responsibility initiatives were also organised by Saigon Co.op in collaboration with its partners.

Notably, with the support of hundreds of units, the Co.op Cares social activity platform — a key highlight of Saigon Co.op’s 35-year journey — was launched, quickly generating a positive impact through 150 social projects in healthcare, education, and community development.

Nguyễn Ngọc Thắng, deputy general director of Saigon Co.op, emphasised that 2025 is defined as the year of "continuing the 35-year journey of bringing happiness to Vietnamese families” of Saigon Co.op. Accordingly, Saigon Co.op will adopt a flexible operational approach to enhance market adaptability, and drive innovation.

It will allocate significant resources to modernise entire shopping spaces, select product categories tailored to diverse customer segments, and expand the development of its e-commerce channel.

Võ Trần Ngọc, Saigon Co.op’s Sales Director, said the retailer will rejig its product portfolio to align with regional characteristics and consumer segments. It will also focus on exclusive products that match emerging consumer trends, promote regional specialties, and strengthen its import-export sector.

"Saigon Co.op is committed to operating under a responsible partnership mechanism, ensuring transparent information sharing and strong support for suppliers," Ngọc said.

At the event, Saigon Co.op signed strategic cooperation agreements with Vinamilk, Unilever Vietnam, Coca-Cola Vietnam, Heineken Vietnam, Pepsico, and Abbott.

Saigon Co.op also rolled out the ‘Collecting stamps to redeem for gift’ programme, the first programme in collaboration with its partners this year, with the gift being a collection of kitchen knives from Dutch brand RoyalVKB.

The programme is an exclusive partnership with L-Founders, a leading global corporation in customer loyalty programme development, with over 100 successful campaigns across 35 countries.

The programme will officially launch on March 31 across Saigon Co.op’s entire retail network. Customers can save up to 91 per cent when redeeming products from the RoyalVKB collection, which includes various knives, scissors, and cutting boards.
