It is set to open in the third quarter of 2025 under Fusion’s management.

It will be Fusion’s second property in Huế, one of Việt Nam’s top tourism destinations, following the success of Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion.

Đông Dương Hotel boasts a prime location on the southern bank of the Huơng River with sweeping views of the iconic Truờng Tiền Bridge and UNESCO-recognised heritage sites.

It consists of two towers with a total of 161 rooms.

Designed in the Indochine style, the hotel exudes the charm of the former capital of Huế.

Under the management of Fusion, the hotel will preserve its historical style while blending new elements that align with Fusion’s unique design.

Upon completion, the hotel will offer full-service amenities, including multiple dining options, spa treatment rooms, wellness facilities, and MICE facilities for up to 250 guests.

Fusion is also strongly committed to delivering value to other parties during collaboration, ensuring operational efficiency and long-term success.

David Roberts, COO of Fusion, said: “With a long-term tourism master plan [for Huế] in place and its reputation as a favorite destination in central Việt Nam for unique experiences, we are excited to enter this exclusive market with such an exceptional property.

“We look forward to combining the rich legacy of this iconic property with Fusion's service excellence to create a one-of-a-kind experience.”

Duơng Thị Kim Bội, director of Đông Duơng Huế Limited Liability Company, which owns the property, said: “Through this partnership, we aim not only to strengthen the hotel's reputation but also to achieve long-term business co-operation and sustainable development.

“We believe that under the management of Fusion and its strategic business development, the hotel will create new value, not only for our hotel but also the tourism and hospitality industry in Huế.”

Fusion manages 23 properties in Việt Nam and Thailand.

It is currently launching a new property each in Hà Nội, Hạ Long and Thailand, all of which are set to open in 2025.
