Nghệ An holds trade and traditional craft promotion fair

Taking place from December 9 to 15, the fair has 250 booths showcasing products from over 200 businesses, co-operatives and traditional craft villages.

Nghệ An province launched the 2024 Trade and Traditional Craft Promotion Fair on Monday in Vinh City, showcasing a variety of products including agricultural produce, seafood, handicrafts, OCOP goods, textiles and herbal items.

The event welcomed representatives from the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the Cooperative Alliance, and other departments, localities, businesses, co-operatives and traders from across the country.

Taking place from December 9 to 15 at Central Park (1 Trường Thi Street, Vinh City), the fair has 250 booths showcasing products from over 200 businesses, co-operatives and traditional craft villages.

It features contributions from various provinces and cities, including Thái Nguyên, Yên Bái, Hà Nội and Quảng Nam. This broad participation enriches the fair's diversity and appeal, fostering product promotion and connections between regions.

Held during the peak year-end shopping season, the fair is expected to become a sought-after destination for local residents and visitors. It supports the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s campaign to stimulate domestic consumption while offering enterprises opportunities to expand their markets. The event also aligns with the national campaign 'Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods.'

Beyond trade activities, the fair provides a recreational space for shopping and cultural enrichment, contributing to the quality of life for Nghệ An residents and communities in the North Central region.
