With more than 160 booths, the fair featured 450 varieties of chili from all over the world, along with traditional cultural and culinary activities. This event attracted hundreds of thousands of chili and spice enthusiasts from around Italy, as well as foreign tourists.

The Vietnamese product booth was co-ordinated by the Vietnamese Embassy, the Trade Office in Italy and domestic agricultural export enterprises. The booth introduced to tourists and consumers not only chili products, but also outstanding Vietnamese agricultural products such as pepper, tea, coffee, cinnamon and star anise.

Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Italy Dương Phương Thảo emphasised that with a goal of developing modern, green and sustainable agriculture and a market of 100 million people, Việt Nam is a good opportunity for Italy to expand the market for agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the two countries.

The two sides could strengthen co-operation to effectively exploit resources to develop modern and sustainable agricultural products, said Thảo.

Việt Nam is aiming to supply clean, high-quality, low-emission, responsible, transparent and sustainable agricultural products. It is also actively developing and protecting the reputation of Vietnamese agricultural, forestry and fishery products around the world.

Việt Nam's presence at the fair shows the country's support and appreciation for this important event, while also affirming its strengths and commitment to providing unique chili and spice products from Việt Nam, as well as creating opportunities to promote the great potential for co-operation between Việt Nam and Italy in this field.
