Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition 2024 attracts over 1,200 pavilions

More than 400 local and international participants gathered at Vietnam's largest construction exhibition, which opened to create a connection among enterprises.

The third edition of the Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition 2024, running on September 25-29 at National Exhibition Construction Center in Nam Tu Liem District, attracts the participation of over 1,200 pavilions displaying new products and advanced technology of famous brands from many countries.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said that the annual expo will help both local and foreign businesses promote trade, transfer technology, expand production, and boost investment.

He underlined that Vietbuild Hanoi Exhibition 2024 is an opportunity for trade promotion activities, investment cooperation, which contribute to accessing smart solutions and technologies of building materials and construction techniques.

"The Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition would facilitate the development of the real estate sector, connect supply and demand, and promote cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises. It will also facilitate the connection between supply and demand, support production and business activities, and strengthen partnerships between domestic and foreign enterprises," Sinh stressed.

He noted that Hanoi needs to keep promoting administrative reform, focusing on procedures for construction investment and licensing, and encouraging the application of new technologies and new building materials to create fast and sustainable development.

More than 1,200 pavilions of over 400 domestic and foreign companies from Australia, China, France, the UK, Germany, India, Italy, and Japan display their products and technologies at Vietnam's largest construction exhibition.

"The exhibition is a useful and practical playground that brings many good results for businesses in terms of trade promotion and investment; demonstrates the vitality of businesses, innovation, and creativity of the construction industry; and creates confidence for domestic and foreign investors," Linh Phuong, a manager at Samwon - HanJin South Korean imported furnitures Ltd.Co, told The Hanoi Times.

On display at the exhibition are construction-building materials, smart home technology-electrical equipment-architecture, interior and exterior decoration, doors and door accessories, and other products such as equipment, machinery, and pumps. The products are considered to be of new designs, improved features, and quality to meet the growing demand for housing, construction, interior, and exterior decoration, meeting the criteria of sustainable development and environmental protection.

Within the exhibition, exchange programs and business forums will be arranged to connect supply and demand and present new technologies and products that are friendly to the environment, allowing businesses to share their various experiences in the field.

The exhibition featured a wide range of real estate projects, security equipment, electrical equipment, doors and accessories, smart housing systems, interior and exterior decorative items, construction materials, rooftop solar power systems, security technology, LED lighting systems, advanced technology solutions for construction, and a variety of architectural products.

An array of trade promotion activities, conferences, business matchmaking events, seminars, and business forums were held during the five-day exhibition.

The event has also been displaying a range of building materials, electrical equipment, interior and exterior decorative items, smart home systems, and paints, among other items.

“The expo has seen the participation of numerous new products and advanced technologies in real estate, construction, building materials, and interior and exterior design. Attending the event, I received consultations on building materials and property services,” Thanh Cuong, a visitor at the event, told The Hanoi Times.

Hanoi International Exhibition is the nation’s largest exhibition featuring interior and exterior decoration, architecture, real estate, and building materials.

This year Vietbuild has been held in Hanoi three times. The first edition took place between March 20 and 24 with 1,500 pavilions featuring nearly 500 businesses worldwide. The second was held from May 29 to June 1.
