According to the 2024 Private 100 report, the top one hundred private enterprises collectively contributed around VNĐ173 trillion (US$6.9 billion) to the national budget in 2023.

Among these, more than 30 entities have tax payments in the range of billions đồng or more. The business with the lowest contribution exceeds VNĐ240 billion.

The tax contributions from the trio Vingroup, Thaco and Hoà Phát Group alone make up more than a third of the total contributions on the list.

Leading this list of major contributors is Vingroup, with a substantial tax payment of around VNĐ30.9 trillion.

Vingroup's tax payments for the year 2023 encompass five key areas. Nearly VNĐ10.97 trillion for domestic VAT, about VNĐ6.87 trillion for corporate income tax, VNĐ2.6 trillion for personal income tax and roughly VNĐ4.9 trillion for property and land taxes, with the remainder allocated to import VAT.

It was followed by Thaco Group with a tax contribution of VNĐ21 trillion, Vinhomes with around VNĐ18.1 trillion, Hoà Phát Group with close to VNĐ9 trillion and Techcombank with VNĐ7.9 trillion.

FPT contributed roughly 7.3 trillion dong, VPBank about VNĐ5.9 trillion, Hoàng Huy Group VNĐ5.3 trillion, ACB Bank around VNĐ5.2 trillion and CRV Group approximately VNĐ5.1 trillion.

It is notable that within the top ten private enterprises in terms of tax contributions for the 2023 fiscal year, two businesses under the investment ecosystem of billionaire Phạm Nhật Vượng, namely Vingroup and Vinhomes, stand out.

These two businesses contributed more than VNĐ49,000 trillion to the budget, representing over a quarter of the total tax payments from the top 100 leading private enterprises in the country.

By including VinFast's tax payment of approximately VNĐ2 trillion, the total tax contributions from enterprises associated with billionaire Vượng exceed VNĐ51 trillion.
