Industrial property event to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on July 30

The Vietnam Industrial Property Forum (VIPF) 2024, organised by Vietnam Investment Review and in coordination with the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association, will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on July 30.

 

Themed on "Going green for new investment waves", the forum includes two discussion sessions, one on the development prospects of Vietnam's industrial property market, and the second on green transformation in industrial parks (IPs).

At the first session, experts and businesses will focus on discussing long-term prospects, growth potential, development trends of specialised IPs and attractive fields/locations for industrial real estate development.

Based on demand from multinational corporations and domestic companies and global capital movements suggest opportunities for industrial real estate, Vietnam's has great opportunities to participate in semiconductor and chip manufacturing and supply chains.

The government's policy movements to promote industrial real estate, incentives and policies to attract foreign investment, potential changes in planning, taxes and infrastructure will also be clarified in this discussion session. At the same time, solutions could be proposed to remove current problems related to land use targets to open up investment capital flows.

In the second discussion session, experts and businesses will discuss future trends and models of green industrial real estate development, solutions, technologies, and products serving the construction and green transformation in IPs, aiming to build eco-IPs to attract new ventures.

At the same time, challenges in developing eco-IPS in Vietnam, legal issues related to standards, and suggestions for adjusting related policies will also be discussed.

In addition, businesses will also share experiences in building and developing successful eco-IPs in Vietnam and other markets such as Thailand, Australia, Europe.

The forum will be streamed online on IR’s Facebook page and online platforms.

Within the framework of the forum, the Organising Committee will honour award-winning businesses with the VIPF Green Future Awards 2024.

The vote is to encourage investors with strategies to develop eco-IPs, and businesses renting land in IPs with green development strategies and using clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, smart water management and resources in the ecosystem, contributing to promoting sustainable development trends.

This is the first year for the award, which will focus on industrial real estate development enterprises, and secondary enterprises renting land and opening factories in IPs.
