Several dealerships in Vietnam have lowered the prices of the Mitsubishi Xforce, a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors, by VND30 million (US$1,177).

The lowest price for a Mitsubishi Xforce stands at VND569 million ($22,340).

A representative of a dealership in Hanoi said that three versions of the Mitsubishi Xforce, including GLX, Exceed, and Premium, at his showroom are being discounted by VND30 million each.

Apart from the discounts, buyers will also be given some auto parts, including insulation films, tire pressure sensors, and underbody coating.

The promotional program will run until the end of June, said the representative.

Despite having hit the Vietnamese market for just a few months, the Mitsubishi Xforce stacks up well against rivals and is amongst the best-selling SUVs in Vietnam.

Over 1,330 Mitsubishi Xforce cars were purchased in Vietnam during the first month of its launch in January, making it the top-selling model among B-segment SUVs.

The Mitsubishi Xforce dropped to the second spot in sales in April, after the Toyota Yaris Cross, but the gap between their sales was just 76 units.

The Ultimate version of the Xforce is equipped with LED navigation lights, LED headlights, LED underbody lights, LED tail lights, and large 18-inch wheels.

The interior of the Ultimate version features a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an instrument panel, the ‘Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium’ sound system, a dual-zone climate control, and a NanoeX air purifier.

The Ultimate is available with an advanced driver-assistance system.
