The topping-out ceremony, which took place on May 10, marks a significant milestone in the tower's development, celebrating three million man-hours dedicated to transforming this historically significant site into a vibrant riverside square.
Marina Central Tower is situated on a 6,000 square meter plot within Grand Marina Saigon, the world's largest Marriott-branded residence project.
This 55-story tower, with an additional five basement levels, stands as a landmark overlooking the Saigon River, complementing the nearby Marriott and JW Marriott residential towers.
Located at the intersection of Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Huu Canh Streets, with direct access to the Ba Son metro station, it offers unparalleled connectivity in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Avison Young Vietnam, a commercial real estate agent, Marina Central Tower “can be the first and only Transit-Oriented office building in Vietnam so far.”

The tower boasts over 106,000 square meters of commercial space, including 87,000 square meters of Grade A office space, positioning it as one of the city's largest commercial buildings upon completion.
Marina Central Tower is also striving for LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, reflecting its commitment to sustainability.
The tower serves as an ideal headquarters for large corporations and multinational firms, offering premium office spaces and serving as a hub for high-end retail and entertainment.
It is a key component of Ho Chi Minh City's new square, which includes branded residences, green-certified office spaces, a high-end shopping center, riverside parks, and a walking street integrated with modern transportation infrastructure like the metro and a marina.
Naved Agha, deputy head of Project Development at Masterise Homes, commented: "Our vision is coming to life as Grand Marina, Saigon transforms this site into the city's new riverside square. This branded residence complex will symbolize the prosperity and modernity of Ho Chi Minh City."
The residential towers embody the pinnacle of luxury living, attracting an exclusive elite community. This vision is already realized with the operational Marriott Residences, Grand Marina Saigon Lake.
Meanwhile, Marina Central Tower epitomizes future trends in work and leisure, featuring world-class commercial spaces to host the world's leading businesses and brands. These elements perfectly align with the city's modern infrastructure, set to commence soon, while preserving historical values in their architecture.
Ultimately, Grand Marina Saigon will be a place where the historic and the cosmopolitan merge to create a space that is uniquely Saigon, yet universally appealing. It is a space that respects the past, embraces the present, and builds for the future, he said.
The tower is set to illuminate the city skyline with its distinctive and timeless design, featuring large terraces for networking spaces created by shifting a few floor plates.
The building's interior showcases an elegant warm palette, while each of the five podium floors offers unique and “instagrammable” retail experiences.
Marina Central Tower will bring together the world's most prestigious companies and luxury retail brands, providing shopping, entertainment, and dining facilities for both office workers and residents of Grand Marina Saigon.
Slated for its grand opening in 2025, Marina Central Tower has appointed Mace as its project management partner.
