Located at the Hoa Phu Industrial Park in Vinh Long Province, the project will comprise an office building and an instant-noodle manufacturing plant, the 12th the company has built in Vietnam, upon completion.

Once the project is put into service, it is expected to provide employment for over 3,000 local residents and offer around 1.2 billion packets of instant noodles per year.

The project will be designed to meet eco-friendly standards, using biomass and solar energy to serve its operations.

Acecook Vietnam general director Kaneda Hiroki said that the firm's products have been widely favored by local consumers since it entered the Vietnamese market in 1993.

The food maker is set to expand its business and better satisfy local consumers’ demand through the development of this project, the general director said, expressing his hope that the factory would create more positive impacts on society and the environment.

The Japanese food manufacturer currently operates 11 factories across many parts of Vietnam like Ho Chi Minh City, southern Binh Duong Province, southern Vinh Long Province, central Da Nang City, and northern Bac Ninh Province, with a combined annual output of over 3.4 billion products and more than 6,000 employees.
