Such trade centers were bustling with activity on Sunday night, as shoppers flocked to malls like Van Hanh Mall in District 10, as well as Takashimaya and Diamond Plaza in District 1.

The festive atmosphere drew large crowds eager to shop, take photos, and enjoy the holiday spirit.

Many traders expected the decorations would help improve their sales given the larger numbers of visitors during weekends.

Besides launching promotion programs, many brands have adorned their spaces with Christmas ornaments to lure consumers.

Stopping over Diamond Plaza in District 1 last weekend, Mai Anh, a 24-year-old resident in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, said she and her friends visited the trade center and took Christmas photos.

They had drawn up the plan at the beginning of the week.

After taking photos, they visited Vincom Dong Khoi, another shopping center in District 1, to watch a movie, eat out, and buy Christmas gifts for their friends and family members.

Meanwhile, Ha My, a 25-year-old resident of Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, shared that she and her friends were astonished at the crowds at the trade center.

They canceled their plan to take Christmas photos and browsed products displayed at the mall instead because of the promotions offered, My added.
