The week-long event, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will promote quality Vietnamese products and services, fashion shows, artistic performances, and activities to engage consumers in Vietnamese goods.

As part of the program, the "Vietnamese Goods Identification - Proud of Vietnamese Goods" running race was held around Hoan Kiem Lake on December 10, and a forum to promote the production and consumption of Vietnamese goods will be held in Hanoi on December 11.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on December 9, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said that the program has been implemented nationwide annually to promote the growth of the domestic market and encourage the use of Vietnamese goods. It is also one of the four key initiatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to stimulate domestic consumption and help businesses build their brands.

According to Hai, this initiative is one of several measures taken to implement the domestic market growth strategy in conjunction with the 2021-2025 "Vietnamese People Buy Vietnamese Goods" campaign.

He added that the campaign's results have contributed to achieving economic targets and controlling inflation. The total sales of retail goods and services through the program have increased by about 10% per year from 2009 to date.

The event attracts a large number of visitors.
