JA Solar Technology to invest more in manufacturing plant in Bắc Giang Province

JA Solar Technology, one of the world's largest solar panel manufacturers, has decided to invest US$658 million in the JA Solar factory project in Việt Yên District, Bắc Giang Province.

The project is implemented by JA Solar Việt Nam, under JA Solar Technology (China), in Việt Hàn Industrial Park.

It aims to produce solar battery components and products, including silicon bars of 2.5 GW per year, silicon sheets of 5 GW per year, and photovoltaic cells of 5 GW per year.

After the construction, the total production value of the project is estimated to be about $1 billion per year, providing jobs for 2,200 workers.

JA Solar Technology has had four projects in Bắc Giang Province since 2016.

With this project, the group's total investment in Việt Nam is $969 million, supporting the industrial growth of the province.
