German business delegation looks for investment opportunities in Phu Tho

Premier of the German state of Thuringen made an official visit and working session with Phu Tho People’s Committee, raising issues about cooperation and investment.

On November 7, the Thuringen State business delegation, led by Premier Bodo Ramelow, worked with Phu Tho People’s Committee and Department of Planning and Investment, to discuss investment opportunities.

It is a part of the visit to Vietnam of the Thuringen State delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany, which is taking place from November 6-10.

Bui Van Quang, chairman of Phu Tho People’s Committee said, “The province is focusing on attracting foreign-invested projects in terms of electricity, high-tech sectors, simultaneously developing the skilled labour force. At present, Hung Vuong University, Medical College, and College of Medicine and Pharmacy are training a qualified labour force to supply the labor market in Europe, including the Federal Republic of Germany.”

One activity was the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between businesses of the two parties at Bac Lam Thao Industrial Cluster.

The ceremony marked the cooperation between Hehnke Co., Ltd. and Haast Vietnam Industry Co., Ltd. in the production of vehicle components for export, and between Intercus GmbH LLC and Giza Vietnam Design & Construction JSC in investing in medical equipment production infrastructure.

This signing ceremony was an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between Vietnamese and European businesses, especially Germany ones, which show a deep interest in the potential Vietnamese market.

European businesses are always appreciated for their transparent capital sources, modern technological capabilities and effective production management. Therefore, the signing of a cooperation MoU by the German Business Group with Giza Group in both the fields of production and infrastructure is a positive signal in attracting high-quality capital investment into Vietnam.

CEO of Intercus GmbH Co., Ltd. Thomas Busch said, "This cooperation agreement is an important step in promoting the relationship between Germany and Vietnam. We believe that this agreement will create favourable conditions for German businesses to invest and do business in Vietnam, while contributing to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in other fields."

Hehnke GmbH Company specialises in industrial production with more than 25 years of experience in the plastic equipment manufacturing industry using injection moulding technology. The brand specialises in providing electrical engineering and automation solutions to various industries, including manufacturing, construction, energy, and transportation.
