Hanoi trade show to promote products from northern regions

A conference to bolster trade connection between producers, distributors, and exporters in the northern and north central regions will take place at Cong Doan Vietnam Hotel, Hanoi on June 16.

The event will aim to connect suppliers in the northern region with distributors, export firms, and trade promotion organisations. The conference will be held at Cong Doan Vietnam Hotel at 14 Tran Binh Trong, Hoan Kiem district and there will be an exhibition area introducing typical products of the northern and north central regions between June 16-18 on Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street, Hai Ba Trung district, also in Hanoi.

At the conference, experts and delegates will exchange ideas and discuss two main topics, how to promote local products through domestic distribution channels, and the best approach to marketing the northern regions' output to foreign markets and the global supply chain.

The exhibition area will showcase typical products from 23 different localities from more than 300 suppliers, co-operatives, and enterprises, creating new opportunities for businesses to promote their products to domestic consumers and international importers directly. The three-day event is expected to welcome around 20,000 domestic and international visitors.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been cooperating closely with relevant agencies, organisations, and businesses to expand traditional and modern distribution channels, promote exports, and diversify target markets through various forms of regular trade promotion events, such as trade association conferences and exhibitions.
