BAC A BANK offers new credit cards with incentives

On March 21 in Hanoi, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAC A BANK) launched an international credit card branded with MasterCard, with two card lines including BAC A BANK MasterCard Rewards Gold and BAC A BANK MasterCard Cashback Platinum.

With the outstanding feature of earning points and cashback, and with many attractive incentives, the products promise to become a solution to help customers manage their finances effectively, flexibly, and proactively.

BAC A BANK MasterCard cardholders will enjoy many attractive and competitive fee and interest rate policies such as free-of-charge card issuance, annual fee for the first year, interest free payments of up to 45 days, or 0 per cent interest instalment payments with flexible terms up to 12 months.

The waiver of most fees will provide cardholders with a more useful and practical experience. Customers are both comfortable and assured when using BAC A BANK international credit cards to meet their personal financial needs, while still being able to take advantage of their cash flows to optimise costs.

Besides the fee privileges, customers can also experience the most modern contactless card payment technology today. Simply placing, touching, or lightly waving the card on a POS or mPOS machine with the contactless payment feature, it only takes a few seconds to complete the transaction. Obviously, thanks to owning a credit card, non-cash spending and payments become simpler, especially for young people, in line with current consumption trends.

In addition, the new products also embrace the 3D Secure 2.0 security feature, which helps to authenticate and ensure that online transactions made via BAC A BANK MasterCard International Credit Cards are always safe and effective as the risks of forgery and information theft are minimised.

What is more, customers can conveniently use the card management features with BAC A BANK's internet and mobile banking such as card activations, locking and unlocking of the card, the payment of outstanding balances, and transaction tracing. This helps save time and reduce the number of procedures that need to be done at counters.

Vu Thanh Thuy, deputy director of Retail Banking at BAC A BANK said, “With the launch of an international credit card with a potential internal platform, BAC A BANK expects to work closely with its partner MasterCard, contributing to the creation of a global value chain, promoting a stronger digital payment trend, and bringing many useful solutions to consumers.”

Sharing about this strategic partnership, Ken Nguyen, business development manager at MasterCard Vietnam emphasised, “MasterCard is committed to working with BAC A BANK to take advantage of the latest payment technologies and comprehensive customer research to provide users with safe, convenient, and flexible trading experiences with more practical benefits.”
