BAC A BANK’s user-friendly experience

In a bid to provide its customers the best experiences and services, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAC A BANK) has been deploying user-friendly high-tech solutions.

Welcoming the new year, BAC A BANK has launched a promotion programme for customers who open an online account and/or register for e-banking services via eKYC identification through the bank’s mobile app or at transaction counters.

With eKYC, customers can open online current accounts on the Mobile Banking application anytime, anywhere, with just a few simple steps. Moreover, without going through a physical branch, customers can still register for e-banking and SMS banking and be issued debit cards quickly and conveniently, free of charge.

From January 5 to the end of March, the promotion is being deployed nationwide. It not only helps to facilitate positive customer service, but also expresses the bank’s desire for a year full of fortune, prosperity, and happiness.

BAC A BANK is offering VND50,000 ($2.15) for the new accounts and a preferential fee combo for new customers who open an account for the first time and register for e-banking services via the mobile application.

Receiving a super-preferential combo means the customer will get a fee-free package contains nearly 20 services, including maintaining an account; internet and mobile banking; SMS Banking; 24/7 interbank transfer fees; and domestic debit card services such as withdrawals at ATMs inside and outside the system.

Existing customers who already have a current account and now want active e-banking services will receive a reward of VND50,000 ($2.15) on the same account and a combo with preferential fees.

The bank has been offering its super-preferential combo package for individual customers since last September, including all services such as current account, internet banking and mobile banking, and domestic debit cards.

Notably, BAC A BANK does not require a minimum account balance, helping customers access and experience financial services and utilities simply and conveniently.

To get the combo package, customers only need to perform a few simple procedures. They can go directly to any branch or transaction office of BAC A BANK nationwide or take a few minutes to register online on the bank’s mobile application via phone identification or using eKYC.

New technologies

In fact, the eKYC solution has been applied by BAC A BANK since July last year. It allows customers to open accounts and register for services fully online, which helps improve security, simplify procedures, and optimise user experiences.

Through this system, customers only need to take a photo of an ID card and a photo of their face, and the system will automatically verify and analyse the information for authentication. After successful registration, the system will send the username and password via email or SMS to the customer.

To allow users to open a current account without maintaining a minimum balance, eKYC can also enable them to register for a range of essential banking services through the bank’s mobile banking, such as e-banking services, SMS banking service, or domestic debit cards.

The bank has also been deploying over-the-top notifications via the bank’s mobile app to customers when they conduct transactions. Just by connecting to the internet, customers can receive notifications anytime and anywhere, regardless of phone signal, even when customers are abroad.

With this service, customers can easily receive notifications of account balance changes, card-based spending transactions, service information, outstanding promotions, and many other types of information from BAC A BANK free of charge.

In 2021, the bank officially upgraded its e-banking service with an entirely new version of mobile banking. With just a few simple gestures, customers can immediately discover and experience new utilities, which can meet most of their personal needs.

With the upgraded version, the entire online interface is unified in design, bringing a seamless experience to customers. Simultaneously, users can change their avatars and wallpapers, choose their favourite utilities for quick access, and actively set up the homepage to suit their needs.

Outstanding service

Along with the smart interface design, the e-banking application is also integrated with a series of features to help customers perform many types of transactions, from paying bills and charity money transfer to other transfers via ID and data recharge. All transactions are secured with a modern authentication method called Smart OTP.

The new version allows customers to log in with their phone number registered for e-banking or by fingerprint or face recognition with high security and accuracy. The new mobile banking app is also simple and fast. Customers only need to update the application on Google Play or the Apple Store, log in and reactivate Smart OTP following the online instructions.

Customers can experience the full range of new features and utilities that can meet most of their trading and financial management needs.

Since the beginning of 2022, BAC A BANK has launched a function named “VietQR” on BAC A BANK Mobile Banking. Instead of inserting account number, beneficiary bank and transfer amount, just by scanning the QR code at the payee’s phone screen, customers can easily transfer money with just a few touches. All transactions are processed automatically and accurately, minimising risks and errors in information input. The maximum limit of each transaction is up to VND500 million ($21,320).

Moreover, BAC A BANK Mobile Banking application also allows customers to create static VietQR or dynamic VietQR promptly. With a static VietQR (fixed for payment accounts), customers can easily save the QR code from the application to their phone, creating more convenience in sharing transfer information. In addition, customers can create dynamic QR - flexible according to each specific transfer transaction. Dynamic VietQR allows customers to add transfer information, just scan the QR code to quickly complete the payment process.

Capturing customers’ needs to expand investment channels, also in 2022, BAC A BANK has officially launched the feature of opening securities accounts right on Mobile Banking and Internet Banking applications. With a no-fee policy of opening and maintaining securities accounts, BAC A BANK helps investors to easily transact and conveniently use added utility services for securities investment activities.

Over the past 29 years of development, BAC A BANK has continuously been improving service quality and introduced optimal products in order to provide the most modern utilities for customers.

The super-preferential combo package not only optimises costs for customers, but also creates favourable conditions to encourage and promote cashless payments – a trend that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide.
