MVV Academy accompanies BIDV to launch SME digital platform

Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) launched BIDV SMEasy digital platform to support SMEs. The platform is sponsored by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), while MVV Academy is a consulting and development unit.

Accounting for more than 97 per cent of enterprises and over 60 per cent of the workforce in Vietnam, SMEs face many difficulties, such as lack of capital, lack of experience in managing and operating businesses, lack of cohesion, and difficulty competing, especially female-owned businesses.

Understanding these difficulties, as part of the project "Technical assistance to support SMEs" funded by the Asian Development Bank, BIDV has selected MVV Academy to consult and develop the SMEasy Digital Platform.

As one of the pioneering banks accompanying SMEs, with five consecutive years of being honoured as the Best SME Bank in Vietnam and the Best SME Bank in Southeast Asia 2022, BIDV aims to develop a sustainable ecosystem exclusively for SMEs, and launching the SMEasy digital platform is one of the most awaited initiatives of the year.

This SME-specific digital platform is expected to become a strong push, increasing SMEs' internal resources and financial health, especially in the current economic recovery.

BIDV's SMEasy digital platform is a pioneering digital platform to support SMEs, diversifying non-financial services from digital transformation support, business connection, and online training academy to develop a repository of tools and handbooks to support business administration, product communication support, and webinars.

Focusing on customer experience, the SMEasy digital platform is designed according to clear principles: simple, convenient, easy to use and access to information, and suitable for the needs of SME customers.

The digital platform demonstrates BIDV's clear policy towards female-owned SMEs through the development of financial and non-financial programs exclusively for female leaders. When using the SMEasydigital platform, female users can use a specially designed interface and join groups of solutions designed specifically for them.

Nguyen Thanh Son, chairman of MVV Group said, "We are pleased to be selected as a consultant and developer of BIDV SMEasy digital platform - a multi-service destination, meeting the financial needs and support for SMEs in Vietnam."

"With comprehensive design solutions, outstanding technology applications, and personalized experiences to help bring digitised, visualized and tailored content to SMEs, SMEasy will be an indispensable tool of SMEs, promoting the digital transformation of SMEs in Vietnam."

The launch of BIDV SMEasy digital platform marked a breakthrough development in consulting services, supporting domestic and international units in supporting SME development in Vietnam.
