NEPCON Vietnam 2022 attracts nearly 300 technological brands

Vietnam’s Only Exhibition on SMT, Testing Technologies, Equipment and Supporting Industries for Electronics Manufacturing (NEPCON Vietnam 2022), opened in Hanoi on September 14.

The event attracted the participation of nearly 300 brands in the manufacturing and electronics industries, from more than 10 countries and territories, including Japan, the US, the Republic of Korea, China, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Thailand, Germany, and India, as well as others, who set up international pavilions and remote booths.

The exhibition to enhance the trading relationships between Vietnam and international enterprises in electronic, manufacturing industries and empower the competitive strengths for domestic electronic businesses, especially SMEs to reach out to the international markets and participate in global supply chains under the theme of Lean manufacturing and sustainable growth.

According to the investment reports in 2022, Vietnam’s economy is expected to rebound due to the high vaccination rate that will allow the government to implement more flexible virus control measures, push for trade expansion, further accelerate regional partnership, and boost tourism. Due to the positive changes in situation of the Covid -19 pandemic taking place in Vietnam and globally, there is the rising in high demands and needs of practical opportunities for businesses in the electronics and manufacturing industries in Vietnam to approach and update with new market trends, new techniques, and technologies as well as directly meet-up with potential partners from internationally.

Vu Trong Tai, General Director of RX Tradex, said in addition to activities at booths, this year's event also offers business connection opportunities, short training courses, business consulting sessions and symposiums on business.

According to Mrs. Do Thi Thuy Huong, Board of Director, Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, after the pandemic, Vietnam's electronics industry needs breakthroughs solutions and ideas to adapt to the changes with the increasing demand for lean production to help businesses, especially SMEs, to reduce costs and optimize production operations. The topic of Vietnam Electronic Forum 2022 within the framework of the NEPCON Vietnam international electronics exhibition, is an opportunity for businesses to share, exchange information and learn from each other for reaching sustainable development as well as keeping up to date with new trends, advanced technologies, and smart manufacturing solutions.

There will be many activities such as the series of customized seminars, advanced technology updates from leading brands around the world and especially the completely Complimentary business consulting sessions & Honouring Ceremony under the Business Innovation Zone Project to support businesses, the local suppliers and SMEs in manufacturing and electronics sectors to recover during and after Covid-19.

Launched in 2020, by Reed Tradex Vietnam, the Business Innovation Zone Project seeks to help businesses in manufacturing and electronics recover from the impacts of COVID-19.

Under the project, Reed Tradex partners with business leaders, consulting experts, industry professionals, and government officers to organise webinar series, that will offer new insights and successful business case studies.
