It is part of a comprehensive cooperation agreement that was signed by the two sides on September 14. Under the agreement, the two airlines will seek opportunities and strengthen cooperation in all fields including trade, services, and technology, contributing to improving the flight experience and bringing outstanding values to passengers of both sides.
The partnership includes all routes that the two airlines operate between Vietnam and China. At the same time, the two airlines will also promote exchange, freight and airport services, bringing diverse and attractive options for passengers.
Han Wensheng, General Director of China Southern Airlines said the comprehensive cooperation between China Southern Airlines with Vietnam Airlines will promote exchanges between China and Southeast Asian countries and among member countries of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, as well as bring" more options and travel experiences to global passengers.
The cooperation will also contribute to creating a solid foundation for Beijing Daxing International Airport to develop and become an aviation hub of the world," he said.
Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines said: “The partnership between Vietnam Airlines and China Southern Airlines will contribute to the strong promotion of economic, cultural and social relations between China and Vietnam.”
