Shinhan Securities Vietnam launches new branch in Hanoi

Shinhan Securities Vietnam Co., Ltd (SSV) announced the launch of its new branch in Hanoi City.

This is SSV’s first branch in Hanoi and the northern region after several years of penetrating into the Vietnamese market and expanding its securities investment activities for individual customers. Along with focusing on building a professional workforce and developing a network of individual customers, the new branch in Hanoi will serve as an important basis for SSV to increase its market share and scale up its business following a milestone of more than 40,000 new accounts opening in the first six months of 2022.

SSV's representative cut the ribbon to open the first branch office on the second floor of Leadvisors Building, 41A Ly Thai To Street, Ly Thai To Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City

Mr. Han Bok Hee, General Director of Shinhan Securities Vietnam, said: "SSV, a subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group, was established in 2017 as the first 100 percent foreign owned financial company in Vietnam. Since its official foray into Vietnam’s stock market in 2017, along with the whole ecosystem of Shinhan Group, SSV always prioritizes the most important goal as a ‘Navigator’ for successful investments that add value to investors and create a better future."

"The launch of the new branch is part of SSV’s long-term strategy to approach, introduce, and better serve investors in Hanoi in specific and the northern region, in general. The move follows the enormous success of SSV’s first branch in Ho Chi Minh City. I personally believe that SSV will continue to gain trust from investors by offering products and services with outstanding features for customers, as well as a new technology-based securities trading system. SSV will also act as a companion to support customers' investment journey more effectively, which helps them to reduce the time it takes to achieve their financial goals,” he added.

In past time, SSV has been highly lauded by its clients and partners for being a reliable companion with extensive experience in international markets of Shinhan Financial Group (SFG), which is now listed both on the Korea Exchange (KRX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

At the same time, SSV’s investors can feel completely secure when using the new generation securities trading system. This trading system is deployed on many platforms such as mobile app (MTS), web trading (WTS) and home trading (HTS) with many new and outstanding features, offering customers a positive, safe, secure, and high-speed experience.

In addition to a comprehensive product system, SSV is even more attractive due to its transaction fees starting at only 0.15 percent and the extremely competitive margin interest rates (from 9.5 percent). In particular, SSV also proves its ability to serve a wide range of long-term customers thanks to an abundant capital of up to VND2 trillion (US$85.62 million).
