Success of key industry promotion projects

Projects supporting application of advanced machinery and equipment to production in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak have been attracting a significant amount of investment capital from rural industrial enterprises.

The Industry Promotion Center of Dak Lak Province is implementing 23 local industry promotion projects with a total budget of VND5.374 billion (phase 1 in 2022) in provincial districts of Cu M'ga, Krong Nang, Krong Buk, Lak, Ea Sup, Krong Ana, Ea H'Leo, Krong Pak, Krong Bong, and Buon Don. Most of the funding is designated for technology transfer and scientific and technological application in industrial and handicraft production, including VND2.515 billion from the provincial budget and VND2.859 billion as reciprocal capital from project beneficiaries.

Success of key industry promotion projects

Most industry promotion funding is used for technology transfer and scientific and technological application in industrial and handicraft production

The center implemented 62 industry promotion projects in the 2014-2020 period in addition to 12 projects for mushroom processing and production of cocoa powder, chocolate, coffee powder, vermicelli, custard-apple tea and iron sheet last year.

The projects not only contributed to fast, sustainable economic growth but also attracted a large amount of reciprocal capital from their beneficiaries.

The industry promotion projects encourage enterprises to procure and apply advanced machinery and technology to production while helping improve the awareness of local authorities and manufacturers of industry promotion’s importance.

The success of Dak Lak Province’s industry promotion sector is attributed to the sector’s cooperation with its counterparts in other provinces to learn about technology production and market development demands.

The center will further strengthen industry promotion and rural industry information, and seek to attract more industry promotion capital from different sources.
