Binh Thuan Province boosts promotion of rural industrial products

The Industry Promotion Center of the southern central province of Binh Thuan is expanding the market for its outstanding rural industrial products.

According to the provincial Industry Promotion Center, rural industry promotion policies have been effective in helping manufacturers modernize production, create new high-value products, and increase employment.

However, many rural industrial enterprises encounter financial difficulties and therefore cannot introduce their products at trade fairs and exhibitions at home and abroad.

To ease this problem, the center will finance 80 percent of the rent for 20 trade fair and exhibition pavilions for rural industrial producers in the province this year.

In 2022, Binh Thuan Province’s industry promotion sector will honor provincial outstanding rural industrial products and help manufacturers renovate technology and seek southern-region recognition of their products.

The center has already launched a project to introduce provincial outstanding rural industrial products at trade fairs and exhibitions in southern, central and Central Highlands provinces.

The center is also working on a VND1.2-billion national industry promotion project for application of advanced machinery and equipment in production, and six local industry promotion projects worth a total of VND1.08 billion.

The center will disseminate industry promotion policies among rural industrial production establishments, survey the establishments’ demand for training and capacity improvement, and better its performance efficiency.

Industry promotion funding of VND1.38 billion was approved for Binh Thuan Province in 2021.
