Hanoi hosts second Vietnamese Goods Week 2022

The second Vietnamese Goods Week 2022 is underway until May 22.

A trade fair promoting Vietnamese goods and featuring 90 stalls is taking place at Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street, Nhat Tan Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

With the theme "Vietnamese branded goods create a driving force for the country's economy to develop sustainably", the Hanoi’s Vietnamese Goods Week 2022 is aimed at stimulating consumer demand as well as bringing Vietnamese goods to people and tourists in the city.

The fair has a scale of 90 booths displaying consumer goods, products from craft village and those in agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors, safe and organic food, merchandise ranked by the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, among other Vietnamese goods.

Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that through the Vietnamese Goods Week program, local businesses have better opportunities to introduce product brands, organize promotional activities, find customers, and stimulate consumer demand.

“Local consumers at the event will be able to access and purchase quality products and goods manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises,” she added.

Since last November, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the suburban districts has organized a series of Vietnamese Goods Week 2021.
