The Golden Dragon Awards 2021 winners included the top 10 foreign-invested enterprises (FIE) in green growth and the top 50 FIEs in Vietnam in 2021.

Ramachandran A.S, Citi's national officer for Vietnam said, “Citi provides and facilitates a wide array of environmental solutions. We have been financing the import of wind turbines and are going to provide a green loan for a multinational company.”
“Citi is also working with the Asian Development Bank on the Energy Transition Mechanism – an innovative financing initiative launched at COP26 designed to draw in private funding – for which Vietnam is one of the target markets.”
In 2021, Citi Vietnam donated an estimated $50,000 in the form of medical equipment to Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City to accelerate the fight against the pandemic.
The equipment comprised 14 beds to be used in intensive care units, supporting critically ill patients who require close and constant monitoring.
The company also contributed around $25,000 in the form of medical equipment to Dong Da district’s health centre to accelerate the rollout of vaccinations.
The equipment comprised six vaccine refrigerators and 23 vaccine carriers which are designed specifically to meet the demanding temperature requirements for safe vaccine storage and transportation.
The Golden Dragon Award has been hosted by the Vietnam Economic Times magazine since 2001 to recognise the outstanding contributions made by FIEs to the national economy.
This year, the organisers received more than 600 nominations and registrations for the awards. Through two rounds of survey and selection, the awards honoured the top 50 FIEs in six industry groups.
