The highest five-month state budget revenue in the last three years was made possible by growth in banking, stock markets, real estate and automobile manufacturing and assembling.

The state budget collection included VND546.4 trillion from domestic revenue, up 13 percent from the same period last year. The rest came from export of crude oil, which experienced a year-on-year fall of 20 percent.

The state budget revenue reached VND1.2 quadrillion in 2020, down 17 percent year-on-year, according to the General Department of Taxation.
