SBI LY HOUR Bank launches new branch in centre of Phnom Penh

SBI LY HOUR Bank Plc – a joint venture between LY HOUR Group and SBI Holdings Inc – launched a new branch in the centre of Phnom Penh on March 3.

The Chamkarmon branch – located at No118 Norodom Boulevard, in Tonle Bassac commune in the capital’s Chamkarmon district – has opened for business after a five-month renovation project.

SBI LY HOUR Bank – which obtained a commercial banking licence from the National Bank of Cambodia in March last year – is one of the fastest growing financial institutions in the Kingdom.

Despite the global economic slowdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, SBI LY HOUR Bank will continue to offer financial services to meet the demands of both urban and rural customers in the low and middle income segments.

SBI LY HOUR Bank has also contributed to the development of the Kingdom by creating more than 1,500 jobs for Cambodians through its 45 branches across the Kingdom’s 24 provinces and Phnom Penh.

SBI LY HOUR Bank will continue since its establishment to draw more funds from foreign and domestic sources to provide the best financial services to attract long-term investment from Japanese subsidiaries, which will promote further economic and political stability in the Kingdom.

Beaute Heang – with more than 20 years of experience in banking operations, customer service and managing sales teams – has been appointed manager of the Chamkarmon branch.

She said that the premier modern branch is ready to roll out the best financial and banking services to the bank’s customers.
