SBI LY HOUR Bank launches a new branch at 7 Makara in Phnom Penh

SBI LY HOUR Bank Plc, a joint-venture between LY HOUR Group and SBI Holdings Inc, launched its new branch on March 22 in the Central Commercial Zone.

The 7 Makara Branch, located at building 219, corner St 128 and St 169, Sangkat Mittapheap, Khan Prampir Makara Phnom Penh, is now opened for business after going through a five-month renovation.

SBI LY HOUR Bank that obtained the Commercial Bank License from the National Bank of Cambodia in March 2020 is one of the fastest growing financial institutions in the Kingdom.

Despite the global economic slowdown due to the Covid-19, SBI LY HOUR Bank will continue to offer financial services to meet the demands of both urban and rural customers who are in the low and middle income segment.

As of February 2021, SBI LY HOUR Bank has offered more than 1,500 jobs to Cambodians through its 45 branches across 25 provinces.

The newly established SBI LY HOUR Bank will attract more funds from foreign and domestic sources to provide the best financial services to attract long-term investment from Japan subsidiaries, which will promote economic and political stability in the Kingdom.

Chea Vanchanbopha (pictured) is the branch manager who has more than 17 years of experience in commercial and premier banking, and management training.

She said the 7 Makara branch is ready to offer various financial services to its customers.
