Ms. Tina Nguyen, Generali Vietnam CEO, said: “The opening of Generali Plaza is an important milestone reaffirming Generali’s long-term commitment in Vietnam – one of the Group’s key markets in Asia. The word “plaza” is written and pronounced the same in Vietnamese, English and Italian, with the meaning of an open public area, a group of buildings and community space. In Italy, a plaza is the beating heart of every Italian town, the breath of every Italian’s daily life. It is therefore our hope that Generali Plaza will be “more than just a place to work”, where every Generali Vietnam’s staff and agent lives and contributes to their fullest potential, with great passion and enthusiasm, reflecting Generali’s distinctive Lifetime Partner’s “SOHI” behaviours. These include Simplification, Ownership, Human Touch, Innovation. I believe this will help us nurture a happy workforce that can further spread happiness to all Generali Vietnam’s customers and the community.”

Generali Plaza will be a centralized office for all Generali’s staff in HCMC, which enhances engagement and collaboration of our people across all functions. The main working area features an open plan, with modern equipment and ample shared amenities. Brainstorming and collaboration spaces are scattered around and equipped with interactive screens, smart Wi-Fi and online meeting technologies, etc. AI-powered facial recognition, emotion detection and body temperature scanning technologies are technological highlights at Generali Plaza. This will help improve workplace’s safety, security and operational effectiveness. Ample training spaces (GenAcademy) and the spacious SOHI town hall featuring hi-tech facilities and aesthetic canopy ceiling will allow Generali to organize all types of training, engagement activities and events for staff, agents, customers and partners.
