The urban area covers 284.3 hectares in Dong Hoa town and is expected to house a population of 19,890 people.
The project will combine an urban service area and a green area of coastal plants, in line with the general planning orientation of the EZ. The project aims to maximise the efficiency of land use in the planned area.
According to the local authorities, the decision lays a foundation for implementing the 1:500-scale detailed construction plan of the project, attracting investment resources and setting up investment projects to build technical and social infrastructure, according to the approved planning.
On this occasion, TDH Ecoland Urban Development and Investment collected opinions from authorities, and local residents about the 1:500-scale detailed construction for the coastal service urban area.
Previously, Phu Yen People’s Committee approved the planning to develop the coastal inter-district area by 2030. The planning is to concretise the provincial planning by 2025 and the project to develop a provincial urban area by 2025 with the vision to 2030.
