Novaland signs MoU for German-standard general clinic at NovaWorld Phan Thiet
Novaland Group and German medical association MediVerbund AG on October 9 signed an MoU to set up a joint venture to develop German-standard clinics and emergency centres at NovaWorld Phan Thiet and other Novaland projects in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the plan by Novaland and MediVerbund AG, the first clinic will open in the third quarter of 2021.
MediVerbund AG, with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, developing, and transferring international and European-compliant clinics and related management systems, currently represents hundreds of thousands of resident doctors and psychotherapists in Germany.
According to Dr. Werner Baumgärtner, chairman of the Board of Directors of MediVerbund, the association aims to bring German-made processes and experiences to the Vietnamese market.
“By complying with current international and European medical guidelines, we hope to serve the Vietnamese people with our years of experience in clinical operations and procedures for the best possible patient care,” Baumgärtner said.
Bui Xuan Huy, CEO of Novaland Group, expressed his deep gratitude to MediVerbund AG.
“We expect that the cooperation between Novaland and the world’s leading names in the medical industry will elevate the quality of healthcare services to be world-class and contribute to diversifying experiences and enhance property values for customers, residents, and visitors at Novaland’s projects,” Huy said.
According to the MoU, through a joint venture, MediVerbund AG will cooperate with Novaland to jointly develop a chain of specialist facilities and polyclinics, as well as emergency centres directly managed and operated by German doctors at NovaWorld Phan Thiet and other projects in Ho Chi Minh City.
MediVerbund, with its expertise and experience in healthcare business, shall be responsible for providing access to the supply of relevant equipment, technique, and know-how to develop and operate the clinics.
Throughout the joint venture, MediVerbund shall also procure training to doctors, nurses, midwives, technicians, and other personnel to ensure professional service and up-to-date knowledge of technologies and methodologies on examination and treatment.

Novaland operates in various fields including property, finance, tourism, and transport infrastructure.
