HDBank wins 2 Global Business Outlook awards
HDBank has become one of the Asian winners of the 2020 Global Business Outlook awards given by Global Business Outlook magazine in the categories of “Best Innovation in Green Banking” and “Most Innovative Mobile Banking App”.
The Global Business Outlook awards honour organisations and enterprises with excellent performances in the previous year.
To the winners, this serves as a meaningful acknowledgment of their innovations, creativity and business advantages.
This year HDBank was one of awardees along with others like Standard Chartered, CIMB Bank, Bank of the Philippines, and CTBC Bank.
With its orientation as a Green Bank that helps protect the environment and a Digital Bank - Happy Digital Bank, HDBank has been leading the trend of modernising business operations with the long-term vision of sustainable development.
As a pioneer in financing clean energy projects, hi-tech agricultural development and clean agriculture, HDBank was the first lender in Việt Nam to be honoured by the Asian Development Bank with its Green Deal Award for outstanding achievements in green trade finance in the region.

Since August 2020, when the app became available, customers have been able to sign up for iMoney accounts and easily register their identification (eKYC).
By using modern technologies, especially eKYC, HDBank has become a pioneer in enabling customers to open accounts online and conduct transactions quickly, safely and conveniently, anytime, and from anywhere without having to visit a branch.
Its efforts have been acknowledged by conferring a number of prestigious accolades.
Recently it was honoured with a second back-to-back award for being the "Mid-sized Domestic Retail Bank of the Year" in 2020 by Asian Banking & Finance.
It has been the only Vietnamese bank to be named by HR Asia for three straight years among the "Best Companies to Work For in Asia".
International credit rating agency Moody's recently maintained its B1 rating for HDBank, saying it has made positive progress in improving asset quality and capital capacity and achieved high and sustainable profitability.
