Sacombank enhances loan package for individual customers by $431.18 million

Sacombank has added an additional VND10 trillion (US$431.18 million) to its preferential credit package for individual customers to meet both business and living needs to help restore production and stabilise their lives after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The interest rates start at 6.5 per cent for loans for production and trading and from 7.5 per cent for buying a house or car and other consumption needs.

The preferential loans will be available until August 31 or the package is exhausted.

On July 2, at a bank-enterprises link-up conference, Sacombank earmarked VND1 trillion ($43.1 million) for preferential loans to corporate customers at interest rates starting at 6 per cent to help them to restore and expand their business post- pandemic.

It has so far earmarked VND32 trillion ($1.38 million) to provide loans at preferential interest rates to individual and corporate customers.
