More and more banks have started offering free services to attract customers.

Many banks offer free services

The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) announced a free-of-charge programme for online internal and external money transfers for individual and business customers, starting from February 14.

Previously, on February 13, the State Bank of Vietnam issued a document on the application of the policy of exemption and reduction of payment service fees to develop non-cash payment and promote electronic payment for public services in accordance with the Government's resolution.

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) is also among other banks that have encouraged customers to increase transactions on electronic banking channels with the policy of refunding 100% transaction fee on BIDV online, BIDV SmartBanking for individual customers who register new services.

Last year, Techcombank also applied a e-banking with zero dong programme called F@st Ebank for corporate customers after successfully luring a large number of individual customers in the wake of free transfer programs for all online transactions via the bank’s F@st I-bank and F@st mobile.
