Oakwood forays into capital with debut of Oakwood Residence Hanoi

Oakwood, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mapletree Investments, has announced the official opening of Oakwood Residence Hanoi, marking the brand’s entry into the Vietnamese capital.

A prime address for both business and leisure travellers alike, Oakwood Residence Hanoi is situated in an upscale residential neighbourhood within the West Lake (Tay Ho) district, offering a sanctuary away from the city’s bustle.

Aside from historic sites and the plethora of stylish dining establishments and watering holes by the scenic lake, the district’s charm also makes it popular among executives on short-term assignments.

A car-ride away, guests can also easily access Ba Dinh district – home to government offices, embassies, as well as some of the city’s best co-working spaces; and Hoan Kiem district – Hanoi’s central business district and main tourist area.

Relocating families will also delight in their proximity to Ciputra International City where a number of international schools are located.

“Oakwood Residence Hanoi is testament to our commitment to grow Oakwood's presence in the country. Two years in the works, the team at Oakwood has been gearing up to this day – when we officially introduce Oakwood to the capital,” shared Dean Schreiber, interim chief executive officer of Oakwood and managing director of Oakwood Asia-Pacific.

Oakwood Residence Hanoi will be the brand’s third serviced residence in the country following the debut of Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City in December 2016 and subsequent launch of Mapletree-owned Oakwood Residence Saigon in April 2018.

Offering home comforts with the conveniences of a hotel, guests can select from 262 elegantly appointed and fully furnished studios, one-, two-, three-bedroom apartments, and penthouses. Each unit comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, high-speed internet, and hotel amenities.

Guests can also expect an extensive suite of services including round-the-clock guest relations and security, housekeeping services, laundry and dry cleaning services, shuttle bus services, as well as activity programmes to assist guests to assimilate into their new environment and community.

The ideal residence for families seeking short to long stays, Oakwood Residence Hanoi also offers a wide range of facilities catering to multi-generation families including a residents’ lounge, restaurant and bar, fitness centre, children’s play area, as well as the city’s very first all-season infinity pool fitted with a retractable glass roof.
