VIB launches two new packages, gives away gold rewards

Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has introduced two new packages to offer customers fee waivers for transactions, withdrawals, transaction account management and International Debit Card (IDC) maintenance.

According to VIB, Sapphire and Gold package users will have these fees waived for an initial three months. After this period, these fees are waived for life if they meet requirements regarding account balance and IDC transactions.

Furthermore, they will also receive unlimited cash back of up to 2 per cent for all IDC transactions and have the chance to win a tenth of a tael of gold for every VND5 million (US$215) in transaction account balance or in IDC transaction every months.

The gold reward, totaling 1,000 one tenths of a tael of gold, is part of the bank’s promotion programme called 'Go with VIB' which runs until December 31.

To anticipate demand and pioneer cashless trends in Viet Nam, VIB is developing transaction accounts, e-banking and cards, in order to ensure ease, convenience, speed, and security in every transaction, Tran Thu Huong, Head of Retail Banking at VIB said.

With the goal of becoming a modern back, VIB also provides customers an easy and safe solution for financial management with internet banking and the mobile app MyVIB.

The mobile app helped VIB win 'Digital bank of the year' and 'Best digital retail banking experience' awards from The Assets Triple A for three consecutive years of 2016, 2017 and 2018.
