Reference exchange rate down 4 VND on June 19

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,070 VND per USD on June 19, down 4 VND from the previous day (June 18).

 

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,761 VND per USD and the floor rate at 22,378 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks all went down.

At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,270 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,390 VND/USD, both down 25 VND from the same time on June 18.

Both buying and selling rates at BIDV also dropped by 20 VND to 23,270 VND/USD (buying) and 23,390 VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank cut both rates by 5 VND to 23,270 VND/USD (buying) and 23,410 VND/USD (selling).
