Mercedes-Benz Vietnam launches new C-Class
Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) on February 21 launched the new C-Class (W205) on the local market with upgrades in terms of technology, engines and design.
The company noted that there are 6,500 new parts and details compared with the pre-facelift. The new C-Class is available in three variants: the C 200, the C 200 Exclusive and the C 300 AMG.
Besides this, a new generation of four-cylinder petrol engines is being launched in the new C-Class. At the same time, these models are equipped with an additional 48-volt onboard network with a belt-driven starter/alternator (EQ Boost).
The new petrol model will be launched as the C200 and C200 4MATIC with a displacement of 1.5 liters, and a 2.0-litre variant to follow later.
The C-Class is distributed in the Vietnamese market with four exterior colors---Polar white, Obsidian black, Hyacinth red and Cavansite blue---and three interior trims---Black, Silk and Saddle Brown (only on the C 300 AMG).
The selling prices are VND1.499 billion, 1.709 billion and 1.897 billion for the C 200, C 250 Exclusive and C 300 AMG, respectively (including VAT).
MBV expects to attract customers who drive mass-brand vehicles.
