Schneider Electric joins hands with local companies

Due to comprehensive changes and the onset of Industry 4.0, businesses need to set specific strategies to take advantage of every development opportunity – and in particular, connecting with domestic enterprises is one such strategy selected by many multinational corporations.

As one of the leading experts in digital transformation of energy management and automation, Schneider Electric has stepped confidently into the Fourth Industrial Revolution with smart solutions based on the Internet of Things (IoT), along with innovative products meeting international standards.

In particular, it presents the EcoStruxure solution – IoT-enabled, interoperable architecture to connect devices together and support users to manage and operate systems effectively, both offline and online. This helps businesses develop and deploy IT solutions on a large scale, use energy efficiently, and improve their own competitiveness in the market.

This is also Schneider Electric’s goal when pushing strategic co-operation with local partners in the industry, helping businesses maximise the advantage of IoT platforms to accompany Industry 4.0.

Last year, with the aim to provide the Vietnamese market with international standard products, Schneider Electric established strategic partnership with leading panel builders in Vietnam such as A Chau Industrial Technology JSC and Dat Vinh Tien Company to transfer its Prisma iPM production tech to these partners. This partnership also helps to increase domestic production thanks to the advantages of a faster supply chain, more reasonable price for domestic demand, and the foundation for domestic sustainable business development before they reach beyond the domestic market target.

In the field of smart solutions for apartments and buildings, An Cuong Wood Working JSC, the top company in Vietnam in woodwork and decorative materials, has also become a strategic partner of Schneider Electric in providing EcoBuilding smart solutions for high-end real estate projects. Smart homes and smart buildings are a solid foundation for smart cities, one of the basic infrastructure methods for the journey towards Industry 4.0.

With the purpose of providing more devices and solutions to customers, Schneider Electric has also established strategic partnership with Citigo Power Vietnam JSC. They take the responsibility to distribute all products of APC by Schneider Electric, especially for the IT application market such as data centres, industrial parks, and special services in the electricity industry. This is a strategy that helps Schneider to deeply approach, strengthen and expand northern markets, as well as support small- and medium-d enterprises.

FPT, meanwhile, has become one of the top strategic partners in co-operation and deployment of the EcoStruxure ecosystem in Southeast Asia. FPT will also assist Schneider Electric Vietnam to train and develop high-quality human resources to meet increasing and pressing needs of businesses on quality workforce for Industry 4.0.

Joining with domestic enterprises, transferring technology, and supporting sustainable development are just some of Schneider Electric’s long-term business goals in local communities, especially in Vietnam where Schneider Electric has notched 25 years of operations. The continuous activities that Schneider Electric has been implementing here show the commitment of the corporation towards enterprises and the Vietnamese government on the journey to digitalisation in Industry 4.0.
