Premier resort set for launching in Phu Quoc

Best Western Premier Sonasea, the newest beach resort on Vietnam’s famed tropical island of Phu Quoc, is set to open on January 15, 2019.

Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc will transport guests into paradise with its spectacular vision of greenery and winding waterways that reflect the natural beauty of Vietnam.

Located on Bai Truong Beach in Phu Quoc’s west coast, Best Western Premier is the ideal getaway for travelers seeking ultimate privacy and a high-life vacation.

A variety of regional and international direct flights - including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Guangzhou - make the location convenient for a weekend escape or a long stay vacation.

One major draw of the resort is The Lagoon pool, which is the longest of its kind in Vietnam. This free-form water-feature measures 300 metres in length and encompasses two Olympic- swimming pools that cascade all the way from the main building down to the beach.

Best Western Premier Sonasea offers 566 rooms, including 83 suites and 16 pool villas, designed with modern Indochine décor and astonishing panoramic views.

This is where the hotel’s unique X-shape comes into play. Not only does it make for a memorable first impression, it is also specially designed to ensure that rooms have an unblocked sightline of Phu Quoc’s turquoise blue waters and breathtaking sunsets.

As a standard of the Best Western Premier brand, all 566 rooms feature hi-speed wifi, 43-inch televisions, a balcony and a kitchenette, making the resort a perfect destination for everyone.

Whether it is a couple, a family, or a large group, the first-class amenities and exceptional services have come to provide comfort for a memorable vacation.

The venue’s 16 exclusive private pool Deluxe and Luxury villas are available for guests seeking privacy just a few steps away from the seashore.

Each two-storey villa comes complete with its own private pool, a spacious living and dining room, three or five bedrooms and a fully furnished kitchen including an espresso machine. Best Western Premier Sonasea adds to the bespoke experience with signature bath products made with natural ingredients.

Food and beverage options at Best Western Premier Sonasea are set to become stand-alone venues on the island for guests and locals alike.

The menu will incorporate dishes from along the Mekong Delta to create a unique fine dining experience that showcases the diversity of Southeast Asia’s cuisine.

CView Sky Bar can accommodate private functions of up to 150 people and the live music and carefully crafted cocktails are sure to draw a crowd.

The culinary team at Essence restaurant, located at the centre of the resort, is ready to delight guests with market-fresh ingredients incorporated into delicious Mediterranean fare and made-to-order freshly grilled fish along with live cooking options.

Each day, a fishing boat will come to shore and offer the day’s fresh catch to be enjoyed by guests. A carefully curated selection of wines can be arranged to complement the cuisine with an oceanfront setting that is sure to accentuate your dining experience.

While relaxing at The Lagoon pool, guests can head to the Oasis Pool Bar for a midday snack or evening aperitif. Fresh-pressed juices, international snacks and mains as well as a wide selection of wine, top-shelf liquors, coffees and teas are available anytime guests desire.

Families travelling with small children can bring their little ones to Nemo Kid’s Club, which includes a poolside playground, for fun activities that are sure to keep our mini-guests busy.

While the children are occupied, parents can take advantage of offerings at the impeccable Thala Spa. The face and body treatments on offer all use natural, locally produced ingredients such as seaweed.

The inclusion of a Fitness Center with top-of-the-line equipment, free weights, and a selection of classes makes Best Western Premier Sonasea an optimal location for a personalised health and wellness retreat.

M.I.C.E tourism, team building activities, and weddings are also well-suited for this large capacity resort, which can house more than 1,000 guests. The recreational planning team can tailor-make any type of event to suit the needs of the client.

“Best Western is one of the most widely recognised hospitality brands in America and we are pleased to introduce the upscale ‘Premier’ category to Phu Quoc. My mission is to inspire our staff to serve with excellence in order to provide the experience of a lifetime to each one of our guests,” said Gregory Cosyn, the resort’s general manager.

Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc is offering a variety of opening promotions from now until March 31, 2019.
